POTD: When Easy Does not Do It

Launched in 1967, the Firearms Worldwide Bronco (referred to as Skeletol Bronco initially) .22 rifle weighed simply 3 lbs due to its easy forged body and skeletonized inventory. Priced below $10 initially, a 1968 regulation mandated serial numbers that raised the associated fee barely. In 1970, Firearms Worldwide rebranded it because the Bronco, providing .22, .410, and .22/.410 combo fashions. The distinctive pivot barrel swung out for loading after cocking through the entrance lever. With an extractor for eradicating spent circumstances, the no-frills Bronco was splendid for youth taking pictures or a light-weight prepper gun. Manufacturing wrapped up in 1978 after over a decade offering a cheap, primary utility rifle.
