Job Description
The Assistant Manager / Manager, together with the Directors, will oversee the day-to-day operations of a team within the Luxembourg Administration group. This role entails managing client accounting, reporting, company secretarial, governance, and transfer agency functions. The successful candidate will handle a portfolio of client relationships, act as a director on fund and SPV boards, and interface at a senior level with clients to proactively oversee service delivery. Additionally, the role involves building, mentoring, and motivating a team to provide quality client-focused service, participating in marketing and business development activities, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities of assistant manager
- Deliver accounting, company secretarial, reporting, and fiscal compliance services to fund and SPV clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction through systematic processes and high-quality service delivery.
- Proactively solve problems using technical expertise and common sense.
- Build, mentor, and motivate a client servicing team with an emphasis on excellence.
- Adhere to statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Manage client-team communications on a cross-jurisdictional basis.
- Act as a director of funds and SPVs as appropriate.
- Participate in marketing and business development activities, including client pitches.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise expected of assistant manager
- Direct experience in client service within a professional services firm.
- Knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
- Understanding of legal and regulatory regimes applicable to Luxembourg PFS and funds.
- Proactive and problem-solving approach to client servicing.
- Ability to work in a small, rapidly expanding company environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in managing, mentoring, and motivating teams.
- Fluent in English, with French and/or German as an advantage.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
