Position: Car Painter Location: Canada

Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces and vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and cleaning
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and finishes
- Apply paint coats using various techniques, such as spraying, brushing, and rolling
- Ensure proper paint adhesion and coverage, and perform touch-ups as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Fix minor issues such as runs, sags, and dust via want sanding and polishing
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Car Painter, preferably in an automotive or collision repair setting
- Extensive knowledge of different painting techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret paint codes, specifications, and repair orders
- Proficiency in preparing surfaces, performing paint blending, and achieving smooth finishes
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Valid work permit or eligibility for visa sponsorship with a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)
- Ability to commute/relocate: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Experience: auto body repair: 1 year (preferred)
- Licence/Certification: Red Seal license (preferred)
